That’s right, it’s everyone’s favourite time of the week; when I let you all in on the secrets to my eternal wisdom and infinite knowledge.
One of my favourite subjects to read and write about is company culture and in particular, start-up culture (as avid fans of my blog will know). So this article was right up my street. If you run or own a start-up, let me know which one you’d like to think you are (I say this because your perceived reality is probably a whole lot different to how your colleagues would categorise you).
And since we’re on the subject, I really like this blog. What’s it about? As if you had to ask; company culture of course.
You tend to read the same advice over and over with regards to running the best Facebook ads, and it goes a little something like this; make sure you know your target audience*. But this one is refreshingly different, with sound advice, whether it’s your first or 100th Facebook ad. Every day is a school day, as they say.
*just a caveat to say it is very important when running a Facebook add to make sure you know your target audience very, very well.
I haven’t really road tested this yet, it could be a gimmick, or it could be a lifesaver. But I have it on very good authority that comes in pretty handy. I’ll be sure to report back.
Lastly, this week’s podcast was from Mel Robbins on her ‘5 second Rule’ theory. I thought that rule was to do with etiquette with dropped food, but evidently it has another meaning, and a good one at that.
